The 2017 AL-KO T16-92 HD Edition lawn tractor may be the entry model in the AL-KO garden tractor range, but it is packed full of premium quality features.
Engineered in Germany, the T16-92 HD Edition lawn tractor is powered by an easy starting 656cc Briggs & Stratton Intek Series 7160 V-Twin engine for superior power and durability whilst the Overhead Valve (OHV) engine design ensures that the lawn tractor offers better fuel economy and a longer engine life. The variable speed hydrostatic gearbox is built using a robust design for reliability over many years and offers precise, variable speed control in both forward and reverse gears.
Under the mowing deck, the 92cm cutting width is achieved by two specially designed blades for optimum cutting and collection performance. The cutting height can easily be adjusted between 30-90mm using a single lever and once the grass has been cut, it is then collected in the high capacity 220 litre grass collection box which can be emptied using a telescopic lever.
The optimum ergonomic design of the lawn tractor ensures that mowing the garden lawn is a comfortable task. Low footrests and ample legroom make mounting and dismounting the lawn tractor easy. The optimum seating position can be adjusted to suit the height of the operator and all controls can easily be reached from the driver’s seat.
A versatile range of compatible accessories are also available to purchase such as a tow hitch to enable the towing of a trailer or garden roller. If you do not want to collect the grass cuttings, a rear deflector is available to purchase which allows the grass clippings to be simply discarded on the ground behind the tractor or alternatively, a mulching kit can be inserted into the discharge chute to prevent the cut grass from leaving the mowing deck. These are finely chopped and then dropped into the ground creating a natural lawn fertiliser.
